  • Sexual-offense allegations
  • Drug possession, sales, and transportation
  • Burglary, theft, and property offenses
  • DUI and aggravated DUI
  • Probation violations

Trial Advocacy

Effective criminal defense requires more than familiarity with the law. It requires careful preparation, command of the evidence, and the ability to communicate a clear defense theory to a jury.

Ross’s work includes jury selection, opening statements, witness examination, expert testimony, evidentiary motions, plea negotiations, sentencing advocacy, and closing argument. His approach emphasizes context, investigative weaknesses, witness reliability, and the State’s obligation to prove every charge beyond a reasonable doubt.

Leadership and Professional Service

Ross was promoted to Attorney IV in August 2024, the highest attorney classification within the County system. He also serves on the State Bar of Arizona’s Member Assistance Committee and contributes to continuing legal education programs concerning trial advocacy, professional responsibility, resilience, and criminal defense strategy.

A Career Focused on Advocacy

Every case involves a person whose liberty, reputation, and future may be at stake. Ross approaches that responsibility with preparation, persistence, and respect for the constitutional protections afforded to every accused person.
